Welcome to the Food and Farm Communications Fund Wildseeds Grant application.
Organizations can submit their application in one of two ways:
- Submit written responses to the application questions on this website by clicking the Apply button.
- Upload audio or video responses to the application questions to this website by clicking the Apply button.
You can view the application questions here.
If you prefer to submit the application in writing, please use the following guidelines:
To ensure your application is not erased or not saved because of technical issues, please consider writing your responses in a Word or Google Doc file and then transferring your responses to Survey Monkey Apply when complete.
Suggested max word counts are included for each open-ended question. Although the application system will not cut off your responses when you hit the max count, please check your word count in another file (for ex., Word or Google Docs) before submitting.
If you prefer to submit your application by audio or video, please use the following guidelines:
Suggested max length of the recording is 15 minutes.
Please answer all narrative application questions in your recording.
Organizational Overview section and Questions 1-4 in the Application Questions section must be submitted in written format.
Please upload all required attachments, including organization and project budget.
Keep it simple! Please do not spend any money or significant time producing a recording.

Timeline:
- Application launch date: February 1, 2024
- Deadline: March 15, 2024 at 5pm PST
- Grantees notified by late May 2024
Grant Range and Term:
Requests can be for up to $50,000 over a one-year timeline. The Fund is able to make a very limited number of two-year commitments for projects requiring a longer time frame of support. Two-year requests are capped at a total of $75,000 over two years.
