Food and Farm Communications Fund Capacity Mini-Grants Application
The Capacity Mini-Grants is a new grant offering of the Food and Farm Communications Fund. These grants are intended to provide small, community-based organizations with funds to support discrete communications activities that boost an organization’s capacity for mission fulfillment and organizational well-being. The Capacity Mini-Grants Program prioritizes organizations serving and led by people of color, indigenous people, farmers, farmworkers, fishermen, and food workers.
Eligible activities include, but are not limited to: short-term communications coaching or consulting; purchase of communications equipment; updates to communications tools, platforms, or systems; communications-based professional development opportunities, including targeted trainings and conferences; and any other low-budget communications capacity-building activity that an applicant organization deems beneficial.

Grant Range and Term:
Capacity Mini-Grants range from $1,000 to 5,000. Applicants should only apply for supported activities that can be completed within 9 months of receipt of a grant.
All awarded projects are required to complete a brief report by September 1, 2020. Report instructions will be sent to the applicant via email.
